Blocked or damaged drains cleared fast, old runs traced, and full CCTV drain and tank inspections — domestic, commercial and agricultural.
We clear blocked drains, jet out fat, roots and silt, trace lost drain runs and carry out full CCTV drain surveys — across Chesterfield, Derbyshire, Sheffield, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire. High-pressure jetting units and camera kit on our own vans, with 24/7 call-outs. Call 07884 111 641.
Most blockages are not a mystery: fat and grease in a kitchen run, wipes and sanitary products in a soil pipe, root ingress through an old clay joint, or years of silt in a yard gully. High-pressure water jetting clears all of it without digging, and it cleans the pipe wall properly rather than just punching a hole through the blockage so it comes back next month.
We work on domestic drains, commercial and industrial runs, farm yards, car parks and estate drainage. Where a drain has collapsed rather than blocked, the camera tells us straight away and we can quote for the repair rather than keep jetting a pipe that will never run.
A camera survey pays for itself in three situations. First, buying a property: a pre-purchase drainage survey shows whether the drains and the off-mains system are sound before you commit, and it is far cheaper than discovering a collapsed run afterwards. Second, repeat blockages: if the same drain keeps backing up, there is a reason, and the camera finds it. Third, insurance and evidence: a recorded survey proves the condition and the cause when you need to make a claim.
We survey the run, record it and explain plainly what we found — where the defect is, how deep it is and what it needs. On off-mains properties we can survey the tank or treatment plant at the same time, which is useful if you are buying somewhere with a septic tank and need to know what you are inheriting.
Jetting units, cameras, tracing gear and a vacuum tanker are all ours, which matters on a bad job: if a drain needs jetting and the tank needs emptying, that is one visit and one bill rather than two firms blaming each other. We answer the phone around the clock and take emergency call-outs across the region.
We work throughout Derbyshire — Chesterfield, Dronfield, Bolsover, Clay Cross, Matlock, Bakewell and the Peak District — across Sheffield and South Yorkshire, into Nottinghamshire (Mansfield, Worksop, Retford), through the wider Midlands, and north via Leeds and Yorkshire to the Kendal area.
A standard domestic survey is usually in the region of a couple of hundred pounds, with the price depending on how many runs need inspecting, the access and whether you need a full written report for a purchase or an insurance claim. Larger commercial sites are quoted individually. Call with your postcode and what you need it for and we will price it properly.
If the property is older, has mature trees nearby, or is off the mains with a septic tank or treatment plant, it is well worth it. A standard homebuyer survey does not look inside the drains. A camera survey tells you whether you are inheriting a sound system or a repair bill.
Not when the pressure and nozzle are matched to the pipe, which is what experience is for. On an old or already-damaged run we survey first with the camera rather than jetting blind, so we are not forcing water through a pipe that has already failed.
Yes. We answer the phone 24/7 and take emergency drainage call-outs across Derbyshire, Sheffield, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire.
Yes — drain tracing is routine work for us. We locate lost runs, buried manholes and unrecorded connections, which is often the first step before any repair or new installation.
Yes. Drains do not block to a schedule, so we answer the phone 24 hours a day including weekends and holidays. Out-of-hours work costs more than a planned visit, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than on the invoice.
Yes — outside WCs, yard gullies and the runs they feed are routine work. If the same gully backs up repeatedly it is usually silt or a dip in the pipe rather than bad luck, and a camera will show which.
You get the location, the depth and the extent on the recording, and a quote for the repair priced from that rather than from guesswork. Short damaged sections can often be patch lined without excavation; a genuinely collapsed run needs digging.
Call for honest advice and a clear price — we answer 24/7, including emergencies.
